1. Within your circle of friends:

Tell your friends your user name so they can look up your member profile to view all your movies, games and music. Tell your friends to join and start borrowing off each other!

2. Outside your circle of friends:
Want to meet new people or have a new email buddy? The movies you buy to watch, games you buy to play and music you buy to listen to, says a lot about your personality! Search your street or town; search your university or work place for members with the same interests. Find people who like the same movies, games and music as you. Make new friends by contacting a member that has similar interests, SwapandPlay will send that member an email on your behalf. That member will receive your email address and a link to view your online profile. You’ll get an email response if that member likes your profile.

Do I have to register to search?
No. You only have to register (for free) if you want to list your movies, games and music, or if you wish to contact another member.

How old do I have to be to register?
You must be aged 18 years or older to register. If you are under 18 please ask your parent or guardian to register.

How many movies, games and music titles can I list down?
It's unlimited!

How much does it cost to contact someone?
Full Membership is free - just activate it under your control panel once you are registered! This will allow you to contact and make new friends in your town, university and work place.

You can search for members according to their address, gender, age, university, work place and their interests! What better way to start a friendship than to find somebody with similar interests in movies, games and music! It's no longer embarrassing to meet new people because you're contacting them to chat about movies, games or music!

How should I meet a stranger?
When meeting a stranger (in your town or university), we advise meeting during the day in a public, busy place while accompanied by a friend. Children should always be accompanied by an adult. If you are not able to be accompanied by a friend, then at least let others know who, where and when you are meeting.

Can I keep-up-to-date with what someone else has got as the months go by?
Yes, you can use your Buddy List to add all your friends, whose portfolio of items you wish to keep-up-to-date and easy to track.

Can I stop someone from contacting me with email introductions?
Yes, you can use your Ignore List to add any members who may be pestering you with constant email introductions. If this becomes a serious problem then you are advised to Contact Us to report any abuse. If you only wish to use Swap and Play within your circle of friends, just choose to "Ignore All" members so that you block all strangers.

Can I sell or auction my items on Swap and Play?
No, Swap and Play is only for listing media titles available to swap temporarily or permanently among friends. It is not a classified ads and is not meant for the selling of items. We promote the borrowing of originals among your friends and provide a portal to show what you have.
